Thermal images of a Think City A306 with Zebra battery

I found myself holding a thermal camera and what better thing to try than see how the Zebra battery affects the temperature in the interior.

Keep in mind that the working temperature of the Zebra battery is 245C (473F), and the battery is enclosed in a thermos like structure that limits the cooling of the battery.

The car has been standing in a heated garage with air temperature of about 22C for at least 2 days.

So here they are...

View from the trunk. Notice the 31C temperature on the floor... this feels half warm to the touch.

View from the passenger side - the warmest point is 28C while the coldest is 22C

I have parked the car outside in the -2C degrees and will repeat the photos after couple of days.
